  What animals do you have on Cherokee Ranch?

  What do I need to bring?
   Your clothing, your gun and ammunition and yourself.

  Do we have a cabin?
   Yes.

  Do we need to bring lines, towels, pillow, blankets?
   No, all this is provided in the cabin.

  Do I need a hunting license?
   Yes, to hunt the whitetails and other exotic animals in Texas, you do need a license.

  Where can I get the license?
   Our guides can take you to a grocery store, which is 6 miles from Cherokee Ranch. Depending upon     your flight time, please contact us so we can assist you with obtaining a license.

  What do I need to get a hunting license?
   A State issued Drivers License is required before a hunting license can be issued.

  What is the cost of the license?
   It can range from $35 to over $250, depending upon both the type of animal (whitetail, exotic, etc.)     and whether you are from Texas or out-of-state.

  Will you pick me up from the airport?
   Yes, we provide a courtesy service, to and from San Antonio, Texas airport only.

  What about hunting safety?
   Our number one priority is your safety. All hunting vehicles are equipped with two-way     communications to stay in contact with one another.

  Are deposits required for reservations?
   Our hunting safari can only be reserved with a non-refundable deposit of $250.00 per person. We will     send you a confirmation e-mail upon receipt of your deposit.

  How much is the daily fee and what does it cover?
   Daily fee per person is $250.00 and it includes practically everything other than the trophy fee itself.     Things covered are:
    • Lodging;
    • Guide fee;
    • Courtesy transportation to and from San Antonio airport;
    • All meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner;
    • All drinks such as colas, orange juice, beer, mixed drinks, and bottled water.

  What are my final payment options?
   All hunts will be paid in full before leaving Cherokee Ranch. Cash, cashier’s check, traveler’s checks     or an approved major credit card will be accepted. When using major credit cards, we charge an     administrative and handling fee.

  What time of year can I come to Cherokee Ranch?
   While we provide year-round hunting, most of our customers come during September to May.
